Description Destination
The Müritzeum in Waren (Müritz) is an interactive nature experience center with Germany's largest aquarium landscape for native freshwater species. The beauties of local nature are shown on around 2,300 m². Come with us on an exciting foray through the diverse flora and fauna as well as through the history of the land of 1,000 lakes.
The circular path around the Herrensee offers relaxation, recreation and lots for the little ones to discover on the large adventure playground and the water playground.
Dogs are welcome in the family-friendly, barrier-free Müritzeum. The whole family can come along!

Coming from Berlin, Hamburg and Rostock/Baltic Sea coast:
Take the A19 motorway and take the Waren (Müritz)/Petersdorf exit (exit no. 17). Take the B192 towards Waren (Müritz)/Neubrandenburg. Via Sietow, Sembzin and Klink, you will reach Waren (Müritz) after approx. 25 km on the B192.
In Waren (Müritz), drive straight ahead and stay on the B 192 (Röbeler Chaussee, Mozartstraße) for approx. 2 km. At the traffic lights, turn towards Neubrandenburg (Schweriner Damm/follow the signs for Müritzeum). After approx. 200 m, turn right at the traffic lights immediately next (follow the signs for the Steinmole/Müritzeum). There are parking spaces approx. 200 m after the roundabout on the right-hand side.
From the car park, you can walk to the Müritzeum. It is about 200m to the intersection Zur Steinmole/Kietzstraße.
