Description Destination

The last remaining windmill in the Vogtland region is a monument from a bygone era. Wooden gears, tons of stone, and sophisticated technology come together here. A tour takes you into a craft that once supplied entire villages. Lovingly restored, this unique building, located near the Dragon's Cave, is worth a visit. Children can try their hand at the millstone and make flour. On certain days, the internal gears are also set in motion when the windmill's blades turn—assuming there's a strong wind.
