Description Destination

This hike is located in the Bohemian Forest area, more precisely, in the Nordic center of the Bohemian Forest.
The specially prepared path is 3 km long there and back and runs to the left of the cross-country ski trail. It is also suitable for a hike with a sleigh or bobsleigh. The gradient is easy to moderate and there are a total of 80 meters of elevation to overcome, with the way back being downhill.
Ev. Ask the tourist association of the Bohemian Forest holiday region (Tel. 0043 578 90 111) or the hotel restaurant "INNs Holz" whether the path is prepared. Please stay on the winter hiking path and do not hike on the cross-country ski trails!
There is no fee for the winter hiking trail. The cross-country ski trails are subject to a fee, but children up to 15 years of age can ski for free (information on fees and the trail map is available from the Bohemian Forest Holiday Region Tourist Board).
The path begins at the large car park in Schöneben, leads past the Hotel Restaurant "INNs Holz" on the right and then straight on towards Alpenblick (sign "Winterwanderweg"). Same way back as out.
