Description Destination
The Kasnockenwirt on the Gaisberg is a popular restaurant for Salzburg residents and guests visiting Salzburg. Its speciality is the homemade Kasnockn (also known as "Käsespätzle", "Kasspotz'n" etc.), which are well-known far beyond the Gaisberg. The kitchen also offers down-to-earth home cooking and sweet treats.
The Kasnock'n are served in a large pan; there is also a green salad in a large bowl for everyone to share at the table. The little guests are given painting materials so that the wait for the good food doesn't take too long.
Hot meals are available from 12:00 to 20:00
And either before or after the meal you can explore the natural surroundings on the well-laid out paths on the Gaisberg and enjoy the magnificent view of Salzburg and into the distance.
