Family Park Drachental Wildschönau

The highlight for the whole family!

The " Drachenflitzer" is the most modern Alpine Coaster in the world . It goes downhill for 2.5 km , with roundabouts up to 25 meters high providing exciting and fast descents! Young bikers can try out the bike trail and you can improve your jumping skills on the trampoline .

Wildschönau outdoor swimming pool

The cozy outdoor pool is located between the towns of Oberau and Niederau. The tourist information office is right next to it. The Francis Trail - an easy hiking trail - leads past the pool.

For the For the youngest bathers, there is the children's pool with the pink elephant and the playground with a sandpit, trampoline, climbing tower and suspension bridge . With an awning, sliding is even more fun. Because bathing is strenuous, there is an outdoor pool café called "The Little Witch" - it can also be visited by non-bathers.

Forest family trail in Thierbach

In the highest village in the Wildschönau , a beautiful family path leads around the Kogl.

The start and end point of the circular hiking trail is the parish church of Thierbach . With the Gradlspitz in the background, you first reach the hay beds and then pass farms into the forest . On the way, discover the energy tree, the forest arena and places of power and rest. The forest playground with sandpit, wooden figures and swing is particularly popular with children. The insect hotel and the small, hidden forest school are also interesting.

After the walk, you can refresh yourself in one of the local inns, such as the Hörbighof, the Sollererwirt or the Gasthof Gradlspitz.

The path is accessible all year round and suitable for strollers.
