Deborah and Jerome from mamarocks: We live with our three children in Zurich in the urban district 5. Deborah works part-time as a food journalist , Jérôme works in tourism marketing - also part-time. We enjoy taking trips with our children all over Switzerland and to neighboring countries . Since we don't have a car, we travel by train whenever possible.

familienausflug.info: How long has your profile/blog been around and how did you come up with the idea to start the whole thing?

mamarocks.ch : When we got married in 2013 , we started the wedding blog www.mademoiselle-no-more.com. The topic of family was initially a subcategory, but we quickly realized that the topics of family, motherhood and children are so comprehensive that they deserve their own blog. In July 2016, www.mamarocks.ch went online .

familienausflug.info: What makes Switzerland so special and worth living in for you?

mamarocks.ch :   There is hardly any other country that offers so many different experiences for the whole family in such a small area. From the city to the glacier? Everything is possible in a very short time. In addition, most places are easily accessible by public transport . And contrary to all prejudices, there are also great activities for families that are not too expensive.
