Especially in warm temperatures, a trip to the forest is just the thing for little hobby treasure hunters, tree climbers and forest rangers!

Maybe a stream runs through the forest or you find a magical waterfall 🧚‍♀️, maybe you'll discover forest animals on your trip! 🦌 Great themed trails such as nature discovery trails, forest knowledge trails or fairytale forests with mythical creatures leave enough room for exercise, curiosity and fantastic stories.

Tip 1: Scary and beautiful Schenner legendary figures

In a wooded area on the meadow path between Thurnerhof and Schenna Castle, eerily beautiful Schenna mythical figures live. Walking over hill and dale and encountering the carved figures will really get the children's imagination going. You can find more information on the Schenna region's homepage ☺

Tip 2: See treetops from above

With extraordinary perspectives and playful educational value, this somewhat different amusement park with its associated forest adventure trail offers a nature experience with depth.

Great for the kids : the balancing path and playground offer variety after a journey of discovery on the path. The Mogelsberg treetop path is protected by a fence on all sides so that even the smallest explorers can "go off" on their own. You can take your stroller with you on the path.

The path is 100% barrier-free and a wheelchair-accessible toilet is available.

Tip 3: Frillensee adventure trail near Adlgaß

Animal lovers, water lovers, researchers, gardeners... everyone gets their money's worth here. A very nice themed trail that can easily be shortened. Even if you don't go all the way to the lake, the walk is worth it 🤩

Tip 4: Favorite place potential

In the FOREST OF THE SENSES , in the middle of the Mürzer Oberland Nature Park , you can recharge your batteries, get moving, sharpen your senses, be creative or relax in 25 places. Swing in the nest under the treetops, work on a forest puzzle , walk together across the suspension bridge , build a really cool forest work of art or be surprised by the optical discs .

On the 1.5 km long circular path, which is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs, everyone is sure to find at least one place that feels good. You might be watched from behind by the deer (from the adjacent game reserve) or from the front by the grazing cows and horses .
