On an adventure tour through Austria's oldest Danube power plant, you will learn all about the exciting construction history, the mighty turbines, the ongoing modernization work and much more. Models, short films, bicycle simulators and interactive stations familiarize you with the diverse tasks of the power plant.
Fascinating virtual reality images with spectacular 3D effects also illuminate the inner workings of the power plant on request. Families with children (6-12 years) can explore the power plant on a treasure hunt together, which can also be booked for primary school classes, children's birthdays or the holiday games program.
After the tour of the power plant building, there is the opportunity to visit the mighty ship lock outside, where you can gain an insight into the process of locking, the tasks of the lock supervisor and shipping on the Danube.

- motorway exit Ybbs
- then take the 1st exit at the roundabout; at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit and drive along the B25 through the villages of Unteregging and Neusarling and then through the town of Ybbs
