You can reach the two huts at an altitude of 1,778 metres in around 1 1/2 hours. In the Schrambachhütte, stories from the Grossarltal are told about life on the mountain pastures in the past. The people of the Steinmannhütte have been managing the mountain pasture for over 50 years.
