Description Destination
The Eisriesenwelt Werfen, the largest ice cave in the world, stretches over a length of more than 42 km.
The first section, around 1 km long, is covered with impressive ice formations and is accessible to visitors. The entire cave is a listed monument, which is why great importance has been attached to the naturalness of the cave.
Equipped with miner's lamps, you can explore the ice world. The cave is open from May 1st to the end of October.
Note: Since it is very cold inside the cave even in midsummer and the duration of the tour is unfortunately often underestimated, sturdy shoes and warm clothing with a hat and gloves are highly recommended so that you can really enjoy the cave experience.
