A wonderful trip to the Thuringian Sea with a visit to the Saalburg Fairytale Forest adventure park. You can experience a lot in the fairytale forest. The fairy tale world is presented in different huts and at the touch of a button you can listen to the fairy tales. Then you could hike up the mountain to our fallow deer enclosure, which opened in 2021. Every 30 - 50 meters you can watch/listen to a fairy tale. Once we arrive, our goats and, a few steps further, our fallow deer Rudolph will greet us. There are only four of them yet. But we hope to see offspring soon. You walk backwards along the panoramic path towards the witch's house (fairy tale, doll exhibition and model railway). At the end of the tour you are welcome to stop by our self-service restaurant and have some refreshments. To ensure that it remains entertaining overall, there are always a few rides. You can operate them yourself. However, they cost extra. Please note that it is a fairytale forest. It is best to wear sturdy shoes. And if you have any questions, please contact the staff. We will be happy to help you. We look forward to your visit!
