Nestled in a wide valley basin, the Hirschgrubenalm mountain hut sits at 1,564 meters above sea level in the mountaineering village of Hüttschlag. This over 100-year-old alpine hut can be reached on foot in about an hour and is a popular destination for young and old alike, whatever the weather.

The dairy farmers treat hikers and mountain bikers to delicious, homemade products. Those wishing to stay longer can spend the night in comfortable double and triple rooms. A delicious alpine breakfast with freshly baked bread, butter, cheese, and jam ensures a delightful start to the next day's hike.
