Pottery has played a major role in the market's economic life since the late 16th century. The building of the former Latin school, which houses the museum, is just as old. A special feature here is the "black kitchen" that has been preserved from the time it was built. The special museum presents the range of shapes, the potters and their working techniques, from clay extraction to turning and decorating to firing.
