Austria's largest state has a lot to offer. For an active holiday with the family , the Danube Cycle Path is a good way to enjoy the landscape without missing out on the sights. The 260-kilometer route along the river is easy to manage in most places even for beginners. The state capital St. Pölten is located in the Mostviertel, known for its pear tree meadows.
